Our hats and mittens are 100% wool. Our hats are made from our own yarn, spun here at Thirteen Mile, and made from our organic wool. Inventories are limited; go ahead and place an order and we'll email you back to let you know when we can ship your items. If you would like a color/style combination that isn't listed below, let us know and we'll try to accomodate, although it may take longer than the standard orders. We can do custom hats for especially large or small heads. Scroll down for special one-of-a-kind offers made from mill-ends and/or handspun, handknit creation made from Thirteen Mile fibers.

COLOR CHOICES:
Our natural color options are shown below; be forewarned that photos and computer screens can distort subtle color differences. Note that the light and dark variegated yarns vary; that variation doesn't show up on the scale of the swatch pictured below. The hats can be done in any of the colors. We cannot keep an inventory of all the colors and sizes. Instead, we make your item to order, so please don't expect instant delivery.

One-of-a-kind Items: We want to give you a chance to try some of the one-off experiments that emerge from the mill---everything from funky, bulky simple handknit hats to various size mittens in natural and plant-dyed colors. All are made with Thirteen Mile fibers. This exhibit will keep changing, and don't hesitate to ask about particular pictures or custom sizes.
